In a bizarre crossover event that defies usual predictions, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Uncovered

According to the formal release, "A mysterious confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying transformations echo through the darkness." The storyline features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine sect.

The mission centers on "peculiar tests and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Transformations

The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
